It takes approx. 45 minutes to complete a learning unit.

A learning unit usually consists of three formats:

  • Presentation (= knowledge transfer) - duration: approx. 20 minutes

  • Exercise (=application of knowledge) - duration: approx. 15 minutes

  • Test (= knowledge assessment) - duration: approx. 10 minutes

These times vary depending on the task and didactic method that you assign in connection with the learning unit.

Our tip: It makes sense to set a binding "digital learning time" during which your trainees should learn with eCademy. This creates structure and routine. It is advisable to slowly increase the learning time if your trainees are not yet used to learning independently with digital media.

In some cases, it may also make sense for your trainees to only work on individual formats of a learning unit. Here are a few examples:

  • Do you want your trainees to prepare a presentation on a topic? Then it is sufficient if they only look at the presentation on the topic.

  • Do you want your trainees to master an exercise with a simulation using problem-based learning in a learning tandem? In this case, it is sufficient for trainees to only work on the exercise/simulation.

  • As a trainer, would you like to increase the trainees' motivation through rewards? Now it is particularly important that the trainees complete the tests so that you can see your trainees' successes in the reporting.
