eCademy offers you many different learning areas in addition to a wide range of specialist content, covering many types of learning and learning paths. You can find out what these are and how you can use them in this article.

There are a total of 5 learning areas in eCademy:

  • Would you like to learn the specialised content of your apprenticeship? - Get started with your learning path.

  • Has your trainer provided you with a study list? Start with it!

  • Would you like to test your knowledge in practice? - Use the simulators.

  • Want to brush up on your maths skills? - Practise with the maths trainer in the maths section.

  • Want to test your knowledge like in a final exam? - Start the exam simulation in the exam preparation section.

You can find out exactly what is behind the individual areas here.

Learning Paths

The learning paths cover the content of your training. This is what it's all about:

  • The learning paths are organised by half-year. This means you can always recognise what is coming up when.

  • In the first learning pathway, you will also find content on topics such as ‘Learning self-directed learning’, ‘Your entry into professional life’ or ‘Data security and data protection’

Study Lists

  • Your trainers can provide you with a learning list. This is content from eCademy (plus your own content if applicable) that you are supposed to learn. This may be the case, for example, if you are starting a project in your training workshop and need to look at certain content beforehand.

Simulators

With the simulators, you can test what you have learnt in theory in practice. Here you will find various applications - always matching your profession - with which you can try out what you have learnt so far: from the circuit simulator to the train test simulator - there is something here for many different scenarios! And the great thing about it: nothing can break, you don't use any materials and you can practise as often and as long as you like.

Math section

You will encounter maths in many different places during your training and it is the basis for your specialist knowledge. That's why eCademy offers you a large maths section where you can test your maths knowledge.

Practise with the maths trainer. There you will find many different maths exercises and tests.

Exam Preparation

In the exam preparation part 1 and part 2, there is a training area and an exam area.

  1. You can practise in the training area - without any time limit and with all the support material to help you learn. Here you will find training courses for various subject areas.

  2. In the exam area you will find the exam simulation. Here you can test under exam conditions (time limit, limited aids, limited pause time) whether you can recall your specialist knowledge even in challenging situations. The exam simulation consists of questions from all subject areas.
